ここまで変わった！新生TOEICを｢大解剖｣ 第210回のリーディングはどうなった？

【訳】新しいルールは全従業員に適用されるということを（覚えておいてください）。

この「覚えておいてください」にあてはまる選択肢は remember です。同じような意味で Please _____ that で使える表現には、understand, note, know, be aware, be advised, keep in mind, bear in mind…… あたりがよく使われます。この語彙は全部まとめて覚えておきましょう（Please note that all of them are quite important）。

Judge を入れて「適用されると判断してください」というと、日本語的にはよく聞こえますが、英語ではそういう表現自体がないのでNGです。日本語訳でうまく聞こえるかではなく、英語の表現としての自然さ、正確さを基準に考え、それにあう単語を選びます。

Part6はこう変わった

Part 6 では次のような問題が出ました。

テスト改定により、[131] のような「文章挿入」の問題が導入されました。これまでにはなかった問題タイプです。文書全体の流れ、前後の文脈から総合的に判断して、その場所に最も適した挿入文を選ぶというものです。

この問題の正解は、(B) (D) (A) (C) です。
